Ella's been reading simple books for about a month now. She just decided one day that she wanted to! Now she is learning a lot of sight words and working on sounding out the more difficult ones. Won't be long now and she will be reading to Carter for me. =) Don't mind the fact that Carter is throwing balls at her and running around crazy loud in the background. Haha.

WoW! Is she starting schoold come Fall? Ha ha ... she is getting so old! And you can really tell she is sounding out the words. The fun thing is that she wants to read and it's not mom and dad making her read. She is smart isn't she?

Nothings gonna stop her now! Good work, Ella-girl! Learning to read is the best thing that ever happened to me, personally, so I am strongly in favor of it. :)
(Maren's keep shrieking "Ell! Ell!" every time the kids restart the video. She's a fan!)
