Santa was good to us.

This year the kids asked for an Easy Bake oven and a Cars backpack. Bet you can't guess who asked for what! Well Santa must have know that they had been good this year. As you might have guessed, this post will be a picture overload so hang in there. :)
Their Christmas loot.

Must unload stocking contents into backpack!

He was VERY pleased with his backpack!

Had to compare his football with his football shirt. :)

Maybe he won't sleep with his matchbox Cars toys anymore?

Get Buzz out of this box!

The infamous meatball game. Hate it already, just like I thought I would!

Thanks Nana and Grandpa!

Should I take my backpack off and get in?

Some of our best friends made us these magnets with pics of our kids on them. So cute, we love them!

Her cupcakes!

This kid LOVES sports!

Yep, still baking! We used every packet she got today!

Tastes MUCH better than when they were cooked with a light bulb!

Watching Cars 2 in their snuggies.

And this beauty is my newest addition. I LOVE it. Can't wait to use it! Isn't it pretty? :)

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! 2012 is just around the corner, can you believe it?!

The Eve

Well we have had a semi quiet Christmas this year. My dad came up to join us as my family is pretty scattered this year. Kids are sure happy to have their Papa here! As usual, we had my family's tradition of opening goodie bags. This year I decided to make us all new ones! Then we read the story out of the bible and put cookies out for Santa. Kids were SO excited this year!
Woke up to Papa here on Christmas Eve!

Ready for dinner.

Brady was sure that Christmas Eve dinner deserved some kind of smoked meat. :)

Goodie bags!

This is how 90% of my pictures look now. Thanks to Auntie Cass.

Just ignore Ella's creepy smile. They weren't cooperating that well with my photo op. :)
And now, we wait for Santa...

The Gingerbread House

This Christmas season is just flying past for me. We have been so busy, yet haven't gotten much done. Next week we are off from preschool and dance so we should have a bit of time to enjoy the season. Not to mention I should finally be done shopping by then. I am usually finished way before now, but this year is crazy. Somewhere in the craziness we did make our gingerbread house. Here are some pictures from the event.
Okay so this was just a random night, but he was cute. :)

Ella insisted on making the house in the picture (just like her, right?). Only problem is they don't supply enough candy to do the one in the actual photo. Dang you Gingerbread house people! We improvised and she was happy with that. :)

Our new centerpiece until Christmas is over. It HAS to stay there!

O Christmas Tree

Right after Thanksgiving we went to pick out our tree. I love having a fresh tree for Christmas. :) Found a nice little tree farm to cut it down a block from our house. They even offered free apple cider (which was a HUGE bonus to the kids)! They sure had fun looking for a tree and getting to cut it down.

Our tree we decided on.

Isn't this just a fabulous photo my new camera took? I need to actually figure it all out still but I thought it was pretty good!

Drinking the cider. :)

Here it is all decorated!
