Toy Storia Mania!

My big boy turned 3! All he wanted this year was a Toy Story party. Go figure! So that's just what we did. I had a ton of fun on the cake and planning it! Love my little guy!

Happy Birthday big boy! <3>

Carter turned 7.

Or three. When asked, he always says he turned seven. Then follows it up with, "I'm just kidding!" He is a hoot these days. Here are a few pictures of the little mans birthday, August 23rd.

Toy Story Mania for the Wii. Think he likes it?

Hex bug set. He loves these things.

We went out to dinner for his actual birthday. They had to sit by each other. Love that they are getting along...most of the time.

Late 20's.

August 19th we celebrated our 7th wedding Anniversary! Not to get all mushy on you all...but I love my hubby. :) This past 7 years has been a breeze. Seriously. Most people say that the first 7 years were the toughest. If that is the case then we are in pretty good shape!

The next day was my 28th birthday. Not sure why but this one made me feel old! I can no longer say I am in my "mid-twenties". Late twenties it is. That makes me feel old. Even though my birthday was spent like most days, breaking up fights, the evening was quite nice. My cute kids could not agree on a gift for me so they HAD to get their own. Good for me, right? :)

And just for cuteness sake. I love these kiddos. They can be so sweet (at times :). Last month they had their first sleepover. I finally let them try it. They actually fell asleep!

Future kiteboarder.

This boy wishes he could go kiteboarding NOW.

This is what he wants to do.
Until he gets older, he will be here...
Watching, and waiting...

Family Time.

One of my good friends was kind enough to take some family pictures for us this summer. Isn't she great? Have a quick look at a few of my favorites!

Carter was quite the ham!

"See, I'm big!" This is his latest way of showing us he is big enough for anything. :)

This is by far my favorite from the whole shoot. :)

The sunny state.

We made the long trek down to CA again this month. We had a ton of fun and were exhausted when we got back!
This is my favorite part of the drive. On the way, there was a huge fire.

SO grateful for electronics!

Uncle Allan gave Carter his first very own can of soda. He was thrilled! And took many trips to the bathroom following.  :)

Ella cooked up that her and Auntie Cass should have matching t-shirts. :)

We got to see my 99 year old Great Grandma on our way home. Spent 4 hours in traffic but it was worth it!

Auntie Cass gave Carter his first birthday present of the year!

As you can tell he LOVED it.  :)
Since my Sister, her husband, AND my sister in law all work at Disney now they collectively got us in for two days! Thanks guys! I forgot my camera so these are all stolen from my sister in laws blog. :)

Ah, cousins. :)

Cars Land!

As you can tell Carter loved meeting Mater!

Kids in Bugs land while we all went on Tower or Terror!

My brave girl in line for Splash Mountain!

And she was completely drenched, but LOVED it!

The girl of the group NEEDED a picture in front of the castle of course!

Looks like we had fun? Well we did! That is until Carter started puking all over us. He got dehydrated from the heat/not enough to drink and we ended up at the ER getting IV fluid. Not a good end to the fun two day Disneyland trip. :(
