Pregnancy Update

Most of you know, but for those of you who don't...Ella is going to be a big sister! I know the picture is not that great, but my camera is broke so we have to take what we can get. I have been pretty sick throughout this one. Maybe even worse than with Ella. I just got a pickline put in yesterday and am home bound on an IV 24 hours a day for a bit. I look pretty awesome pushing my pole around with me everywhere I go. =) Don't worry. Brady has pictures already. It is a pretty weird experience. Getting the pickline was a lot more of a procedure than I would have thought. They put me in a hospital room and I thought they would just come and put it in. Well no, they take you down the hall into this crazy high tech huge room that looks like people should be on their death bed to go in there. They transfer you to the surgery table and use an ultrasound and xray machine. The weirdest part is that they let me watch it happen on the x-ray screen. Weird. Brady was in the waiting room and came in when it was all done. We went home and then a home heath nurse comes and teaches you how to change your iv bag and give yourself meds. Then she left me to do it alone this morning and won't be back until tonight. It's a little freaky that they teach you all this stuff that you have to do perfectly in order to not get infection and then leave you to do it alone. It's a crazy experience that is for sure. They are not sure how long I will need it. I may get food through it too if I can't eat by tomorrow. If all goes well I will be able to get out in a week and only hook it up at night. Not sure how long I will have to do this, so we will see.

Bathtime Fun

Sara, this is an ode to you... So Brady was giving Ella a bath this evening and this is what I hear from downstairs...
Ella: "Out!" Brady: "Are you sure? You never want out of the bath." Ella: "Out!" Brady: "OK, but we need to wash you first." Ella: "Poop!" Brady: "No, I think you had gas. No Poop." Ella let him wash her hair at this point while crying. Ella: "POOP!" Brady: Did you really poop? At this point Brady says he saw a little "kibble" and then swooped her up. Then I hear... Brady: "Jess!"
So, after he picked her up out of the tub there was a HUGE turd in the tub. The worst part is that it was in the drain part (Sara you know how our drains are...no covers). So it was really hard for Brady to get out and it smelled awful! We won't subject you to the pictures...just the pictures of Ella in shock. =)

Disneyland

It's A Small World....the favorite. =)
She is very excited about Mickey Mouse these days...This was during her diaper change. Too cute that she was kickin' back. =)
