Olvera Street

This past weekend, we went down to Olvera Street in LA. Ella got her first Miraccas and loved them. Too bad it was raining, but we till had a good time.
Here's the ride home. Passed out and still holding those miraccas!
Ella loves her Uncle Darren!

Hi Everyone!

Hi Patrick! Thanks for the picture. I love you!
"Hi Nana, don't I look cute in my dress?"
This is the cute dress that Sara bought her. Grammie was teaching her how to clean early. =)

New Things...for Ella anyway

We had a very eventful weekend. Here are a few pictures. This is Ella finally accepting some tummy time. She hates laying on her tummy (or on the floor for that matter). She is finally enjoying it for a few minutes each day which is liberating to say the least. (Please excuse Ella's cleavage=). We finally got her crib a few weeks ago. It was backordered for months. We are glad we waited for it because we love it!! Her dresser came in this weekend so we went to pick it up. Now all we are waiting on is her bedding!!! Her room is getting rather cute, I must say! Ella will still not take a bottle, no matter how diligent we are. We were told to go straight to the sippy cup if she won't take a bottle. Here is a picture of Ella actually enjoying her new cup! Grammie made Ella a quilt. It is so beautiful! She loves staring at the pictures on it. Here is Ella getting ready to eat in her high chair for the first time!

Solids

Ella started eating solids about 3 weeks ago. She loved the rice cereal and so her pediatrician said to start her on fruits. They have been a hit so far!

Happy Valentines Day!

Fun at the Park!

We took Ella to the park on Saturday...she loved it!! Ella can now sit up for quite a bit on her own. She falls over after about 10-15 seconds, but it's baby steps right? Here is ella in her lounge chair (or so she thinks) watching TV as usual! Yes this is a bird... I was feeding Ella on Saturday and a bird flew by my face. I screamed and scared Ella pretty good. It came out of the chimney and landed on our curtain rod. Then in its attempt to get out it flew into the bathroom...even though the front door was wide open. Brady had to trap himself in the bathroom and one handedly get the screen off the window so the bird could get out.
