This past weekend, we went down to Olvera Street in LA. Ella got her first Miraccas and loved them. Too bad it was raining, but we till had a good time.
Here's the ride home. Passed out and still holding those miraccas!
Are "mirakas" the same thing as "maraccas?" I was seriously so confused....I was googling them, wondering if that was a brand name, like Band-aids, or Jello, that everyone else knows about! :)
Also, I've never heard of Olvera Street...what is it exactly? It sure looks like fun, rain and all.
I wasn't sure which was the correct spelling because I have seen it both ways. I think "Maraccas" is correct though...I think I will change that!
Olvera Street is just a little spot that all the mexicans hang out at in LA. There are tons of shops and places to eat. We grew up going there as kids. It is a pretty cool experience. The only problem is that everyone speaks spanish so you spend a little time looking at people confused if you don't have someone who speaks it with you.=)
