Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch this past weekend and Ella had quite a good time looking for the perfect pumpkin.
Guess I can't pick that one up. I will have to settle for a smaller one...... And her Papa of course helping her carry her pick.
"RARRRR!"
Buying the pumpkin.
Now for a refresher. It was about 90 degrees there! It's October!!!

Carter's Blessing

The masses came down for Carter's blessing. It was great to see everyone and spend some quality time together. Here are a few pictures of the event. And yes, Carter is HUGE!! First up...Disneyland!
Then, the beach...what a cute mermaid. =)
And the blessing.
Playing with Uncle Levi was Ella's favorite part I am pretty sure. =)

Ella's 26!

Our little Ella turned 2 on Wednesday! I can't believe she is so old already. The morning of her birthday she came into my room and I said, "Happy Birthday Ella! How old are you?" and she replied, "I'm 26!" Haha...I have no clue where she got that from, but it was pretty funny! Here are a few pictures of her birthday.
She had to hug the Strawberry Shortcake poster. We played pin the jewel on Strawberry Shortcake. =) Frosting her pink cupcakes Movie and popcorn to finish the day off. We had a party for her last Saturday and she had a blast. It was Strawberry Short cake themed of course! Her Mimi made it out for the festivities and she was thrilled about that! And of course playing with her best bud Jeff was in order! Lets just say there was stripping involved with the above photo. =)The boys playing with the Shortcake bat and ball. *Cute Olivia* And isn't this the cutest picture of Owen and Ella? I thought it was adorable. She loves her cousin. =) And of course an updated picture of Carter for everyone!

Potty Train!

So, I am proud to announce that we had our first 100% successful day of potty training! Nana helped get us a good jump start while she was here (Thank you Nana!)and Ella woke up today ready for it. She went in the potty 9 times today! One of those was the stinky kind even! She had NO accidents and even woke up dry from her nap! I know it is going to be a long go of it, but she seems to prefer it to a diaper. We are excited for our diaper bill to hopefully decrease soon. Yay for Ella!!! (Sorry no pictures, our computer is officially gone to be fixed).

Siblings

Our computer has yet to be sent in, so I thought I would make one more update. Carter is now three weeks old and is changing like crazy. Ella is still loving him so far and sure takes good care of her little brother. Here are a couple of cute photos I took of her taking care of him this past week. Here are a couple of cute pictures of Carter this week. He is changing so much these days. His face is getting longer and he sure is gaining weight fast. He is a sweet little guy though that is for sure.

Two week update

We are sending our computer in for a while to be fixed so here is an update on the kiddos before it goes in for a few weeks. They are becoming the best of friends, so far so good. =) Carter is two and half weeks old and growing like crazy. He eats all the time and has gained quite a bit of weight. His two week check up was yesterday and all is going great so far. Now if we can just control his diapers. =) Here's a funny story for those of you that haven't heard it already... I have been pulling Carter out of his bed and into ours to feed/change his diaper at night since it hurts my back to stand over his bed to change it. Well about 7am on Saturday morning, I pulled him in for his feeding/diaper change. He has pee'd through his blanket and onto our bed quite a few times so, in my logic I decided that I would angle his head off the bed so that if he did in fact pee this time it would go onto the floor instead. It's a rental, and then I could clean it up and go back to sleep without changing the sheets. =) I begin to change the diaper and after no time at all I hear a loud explosion and he shoots poop all over the bed. Luckily I was sitting on the side of him and didn't get hit. I am totally upset because now I have to change the sheets AGAIN and can't go back to sleep. Next thing I hear is Brady (who was asleep next to me) calmly say, "I have poop in my hair, and on my face. It is running down my face..." I turn around to find him still laying on his pillow with poop on him and all over the headboard! Mind you I was 3/4 the way down the bed. This kid has some serious power behind him. The best part for me was that Brady stayed laying in bed for at least a minute after he got shot in the face. I started laughing hysterically while Brady finally got up and in the shower to clean himself up. I would have jumped out of bed so fast, but Brady being the calm collected person that he is just stayed there for a while. Totally funny. Here are a few updated pictures of Carter this week. As for Ella, she is loving her brother and is such a big help to us. She is getting to be such a big girl, I can't believe she's gonna be two in a couple weeks! She seems like she can get anybody to do anything. She can even get six grown people to sing itsy bitsy spider over web cam. Haha...nice job Nana, Grandpa, Tanner, Kearis, Marissa and Levi. =) She loves drawing and painting lately so here are a few pictures of her creating her artwork.
