Two week update
We are sending our computer in for a while to be fixed so here is an update on the kiddos before it goes in for a few weeks. They are becoming the best of friends, so far so good. =)
Carter is two and half weeks old and growing like crazy. He eats all the time and has gained quite a bit of weight. His two week check up was yesterday and all is going great so far. Now if we can just control his diapers. =) Here's a funny story for those of you that haven't heard it already...
I have been pulling Carter out of his bed and into ours to feed/change his diaper at night since it hurts my back to stand over his bed to change it. Well about 7am on Saturday morning, I pulled him in for his feeding/diaper change. He has pee'd through his blanket and onto our bed quite a few times so, in my logic I decided that I would angle his head off the bed so that if he did in fact pee this time it would go onto the floor instead. It's a rental, and then I could clean it up and go back to sleep without changing the sheets. =) I begin to change the diaper and after no time at all I hear a loud explosion and he shoots poop all over the bed. Luckily I was sitting on the side of him and didn't get hit. I am totally upset because now I have to change the sheets AGAIN and can't go back to sleep. Next thing I hear is Brady (who was asleep next to me) calmly say, "I have poop in my hair, and on my face. It is running down my face..." I turn around to find him still laying on his pillow with poop on him and all over the headboard! Mind you I was 3/4 the way down the bed. This kid has some serious power behind him. The best part for me was that Brady stayed laying in bed for at least a minute after he got shot in the face. I started laughing hysterically while Brady finally got up and in the shower to clean himself up. I would have jumped out of bed so fast, but Brady being the calm collected person that he is just stayed there for a while. Totally funny.
Here are a few updated pictures of Carter this week.

As for Ella, she is loving her brother and is such a big help to us. She is getting to be such a big girl, I can't believe she's gonna be two in a couple weeks! She seems like she can get anybody to do anything. She can even get six grown people to sing itsy bitsy spider over web cam. Haha...nice job Nana, Grandpa, Tanner, Kearis, Marissa and Levi. =)
She loves drawing and painting lately so here are a few pictures of her creating her artwork.

I started laughing out loud reading this story. so freakin funny. I remember when Chase would pee on our bed, I would put a towel over it and go back to bed. Matt was always telling me how gross that is. I was in survival mode dude. There's no way I was changing the sheets 3 times a day! hahaha. Ella is getting so big. We can't wait to see her at CHristmas time, and to get to meet carter. He is so beautiful, I hope he's still cuddly at Christmas. I need to cozy a new baby to satisfy my newborn needs. :)
Poor Brady--good thing that's probably neither the first nor the last time he will have poop in his hair! So gross.
Carter is looking like quite the chub! How much does he weigh? He definately looks bigger than Ella did when she was a newborn. He's seriously cute--something about the rounding out makes them even more cuddly cute!
I have already heard the story.. but for some reason I still laughed and it was still funny! :) Oh, and you were not supposed to share our itsy bitsy experience :)But true, she can get anyone to do anything! :) Can't wait to see you guys in a couple months!
Yeah, ummm... our itsy bitsy spider moment was not to be shared with the public. Who can resist that little girl!?!? :)
I just had a laugh out loud moment! That is the funniest thing I have ever heard! Miss June had some issues with the pooping too there was not one nurse in the nicu that didn't get pooped on. But nothing as bad as your little guy!
