We had quite an eventful Easter weekend this year. Brady's sister came down with her family and we had a lot of fun planned (I will break this up into two posts since we had some much crammed into a few days). Let's begin with Friday. My little niece was turning 3 so we spent the day making a cake for her. Once she arrived we had a special birthday dinner and her pinkalicious/purplicious cake!
Later that night we dyed Easter eggs! My camera died so those pictures will have to come later (hoping Amy got some shots). Here is one I have of Carter. He sure loved being one of the "big kids" this weekend.
Saturday was a beautiful day, so we set out for a trip to the zoo. Apparently there was an Easter egg hunt going on and everyone else had the same idea. Still, it was a fun afternoon. We took the train, which the kids obviously loved. Ella and Patrick spent most of their weekend holding hands, gotta love cousins! I asked her today what her favorite part of the weekend was and she replied, "Hanging out with Patrick!"
The gang at the train station.
Checking out the train map. =)
Ella checking out the polar bears. One of the favorites.
Amy always tends to take on another kid when she's around!
Carter pretending to be a Giraffe. (Thanks Jagger! Haha)
This one is for Cass. =) We attempted the Easter egg hunt. It was more of a scrimmage but it was fun anyway.
Carter was fascinated with the monkeys. He loved the zoo! He would growl at each and every cage. It was entertaining for us to say the least.
The two goof balls.
Of course, more for the polar bears.
Last stop, the tigers!

Wow are those grand kids getting big or what? How I love the cute picture face Carter makes whenever he gets the chance to pose for a picture.
Dad
Ella looks so tall! Carter is such a cutie pie!
