The 4th

We headed up to Carrie and Jimmy's friends for the 4th. We had an awesome BBQ and just hung out. Then we did fireworks with a fire and some marshmallows of course! It was so fun and Ella had a blast! It was SO cold at night though, I thought it was winter.

All ready in their 4th of July outfits that Nana made them! I have come to terms that this is the best picture I will get of Carter. He is too busy to sit still for a picture these days.

Ella told us a few hours after we got there, "I am going to stay here. I will sleep in Kat's bed. I will listen to Kat, don't worry." I asked her how long she would be gone and she said, "I will stay here forever and ever." So sad! She wanted to stay there SO bad. She even let us all three head to the car without her. She ended up crashing during fireworks and there were some tears in the morning. "I didn't want to come home!" Sheesh. After all we have done for her! =)

On another note, Carter took 3 steps yesterday! I will post pictures and a video as soon as I can figure out how to capture it. (Since he walked from me to Brady I am not quite sure who will do the video taping, but I will figure something out). =)
