We got to take a trip to Jessica's parents house last night at 4 am. A forest/brush fire started yesterday about 2 miles from our house and is threatening to burn everything in it's path. There was no concern about the fire reaching us since it would have to burn through 2 miles of city before hand.
However, Ella seemed to be very irritable and as the smoke got worse she started wheezing. Since our eyes and lungs started burning, we could only imagine how she felt. So I called a nurse for Blue Sheild who had me call poison control. They told me that we were too close to the fire to have a 3 week old baby and to get out of there.
So we packed up and left for Upland. We are breathing better now, and Ella is much happier.
We are afraid that little Ella may have inherited asthma . I guess we will see.

The hills of Los Angeles are burning.

scary. I guess that's one good thing about our move, our lungs aren't burning. :)
Brady, you do have a good camera and a very cute baby. Pictures would be the appropriate solution to that math problem. Not fires in California. although news updates are good, Pictures are better.
