Last Saturday, Brady and I went to get our Christmas tree at a tree farm out in Redlands. This was Brady's first experience with a tree farm, and being used to a $5 permit to cut down a tree from the woods, he was a bit in shock. Brady proceeded to tell me that the only tree we could get was the one shown in the picture on the right. (I am sure you all know this was due to the inflated prices at the tree farm.) As cute as it was, it wouldn't hold too many ornaments, so I talked him into one a bit larger. After searching for the perfect tree, we paid for our 7 1/2 foot tree and off we went. Only I thought I was going to have to revive him after he saw how much they cost when you don't cut them down from a forest. Needless to say we got our tree and it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas (no pun intended).

Christmas Tree Farm

Did ya'll buy a digital camera? I was going to tell you that the one I have (and my mom) is on a great sale at Costco, but it may be a moot point now!
Can't wait to see your decked out tree--we're going to cut one down in the mountains with friends from the ward this weekend--go $5 trees!
Nope, no digital camera yet. Still working on that. I did see a few at Costco on sale and am still working on convincing Brady. =) I did get a new phone a few months ago and this picture was taken with that. It is actually a pretty good camera (just can't fit vrey many people in a picture on that). We still have yet to decorate our tree, but hopefully soon. We will put a picture up when it is done. Hope you have fun cutting down your tree!
That's a way good pic from a cell phone! We LOVE our camera-it's the Canon Powershot ELPH. Ours is 7.1 megapix--it cost us about $375 last year but Costco has it, with photo printer for about $250. The thing we like the most is great pics with portabliity. It's tiny enough to go in a pocket but feels well made.
We just went to Costco last night to see if they had the camera your guys have. Can you believe they didn't even have it! Unfortunately Costco has some products or specials that are regional. We did get a camera though! We got a Nikon and it has wifi capability to download/print your pictures. It is pretty cool. It is small enough to fit in a pocket as well. We like it so far, although we haven't actually figured it out completely yet. Pictures to come!!!
Cool. You can't really go wrong with a Nikon or a Canon. Good luck figuring it out!
