Christmas Festivities

Decorating the gingerbread train!
The finished product (notice the garden in the front, courtesy of Auntie Cass, to rid of the rest of the candy) =)
Sugar cookies...
And the goofball, ready for Christmas Eve.
And this is after I told her not to make a goofy face...
We went to Grammy and Papa's house for Christmas Eve. They got Ella the wood version of paper dolls. She LOVES them.
The phrase that she says to EVERYONE. (Sorry to make some of you feel less special). Auntie Cass made her a shirt with the phrase on it. =)
Ready for Santa to come, in their jammies with milk and cookies out (and carrots for the reindeer of course).
Santa brought her all the things she wanted, a big present, a dolly...
Ravioli, and macaroni and cheese. =)
From Grandpa Jensen, a doctor kit. (Quite possibly the best gift of the year). Dr. Ella has been checking everyone out to make sure they are not sick. Normally everyone will be alright. Phew. For some reason though, every time she checks Brady she says, "he's not gonna live". Haha. Not sure why but his prognosis is never good.
Carter missed our morning festivities after keeping us up ALL night. He had his own little Christmas around noon time. Not fair if you ask me.

More at Nana and Grandpa's House...

All the kiddos ready for church.
Kearis and Ella in the loft in Nana's classroom.
Playing with Uncle Levi, her "best friend"!
Aunt Shannon....another favorite time for Ella. =)
We had Christmas with Nana and Grandpa while we were there!
The tent. Probably the hit of the week!
Marissa Levi went to get their Christmas Tree and we all tagged along. Ella and Emily loved the snow of course.
Carter on his way back to the car since it was cold and he was naked in a blanket. He had some major diaper issues on the way up the mountain. =)
Ella trying to decide if she needs to go potty that bad to bear the cold up there. The answer was no!
Ella's "baby roller coaster" ride. =)

Cowgirl Up!

Turns out Ella is quite the cowgirl. We made it to Idaho on Saturday night and that is all she has wanted to do since we have been here. Here are a few pictures of our outdoor adventures so far.
Ella LOVED the horses and cows. Here's Ella on her first horse ride. She really enjoyed herself and may become a horse jockey in the future by the way she rides. She fed a horse right out of her hand. Brave girl! She liked to scare the cows and send them running. Ella will pretty much take a 4 wheel drive with anyone who is willing...
This one was just with Brady and I. See her enjoying herself? She was asking to go faster.
Then this happened. =)
Levi was nice enough to bring up his guns so we could go shooting. It was my first time and it was pretty fun! This is just to show you that Carter was in fact there! He is getting quite big and is such a sweet little guy.Don't worry more pictures to come from the rest of the trip. Indoor activities will be pictured at a later date!

Uncle Levi was nice enough to keep Carter warm inside his coat.
She wanted to go for a walk.
Like father like daughter...this is where she led him. =)
Here's a video of Ella skiing!!! She loved it!

Ella's First Haircut!

Ella's hair was finally long enough to even out the bottom. Grammy came over to give Ella her first haircut last week. She looks quite grown up all of a sudden!

Ella's new bed

This is Ella's new bed. As we started packing (for our move that never happened) she decided she needed to sleep inside one of the boxes. Every nap and night time sleeping is now done in her box. She gets excited to go to bed so she can sleep in her "house". Wish we would have known this before we invested in an actual bed. =)
