1 week old!
As of yesterday, our little guy is 1 week old. Ella is getting used to sharing her attention and is such a good big sister. Carter seems to think he should eat every 3 hours during the day and every 2 hours at night, so I am lucky if I get an hour of sleep in between. On top of that, Ella has decided to start waking up early again so I am pretty tired these days. Today is Brady's first day back to work so I am alone with these two...scary thought! We are doing ok so far, I just hope it keeps up! Here are a few cute new photos for you all. All in all, we are doing well and busy getting used to being a family of four!

Sisterly Love
Ella absolutely loves her baby brother. She is always wanting to hold him and kiss him...now if we can stop her from bonking him (head butting him) we will be alright. =) She is adjusting well to having a new sibling. We have a few melt downs here and there, which is to be expected, but overall she is loving it. Pictured below is her sitting next to Carter because she said he wanted to watch Tinkerbell with her. I highly doubt it! I thought it was sweet that she wanted him to hold her baby doll too. =)
She had to have a picture of both of their feet...I thought that was really cute! =)
And this is the fit following her holding Carter. We have had a few of these lately, but all in all she is happy to have "Baby Brother Come Out!" (Thank you Nana!=)

Jensen Family Corn Roast
We went to the beach for a corn roast last Friday with part of Brady's family. Ella had a ton of fun playing with all her cousins and Aunts and Uncles. It was a blast!

I believe this is Ella's first marshmallow roasting experience. She thought they were quite good.
She, Patrick and Kennedy thought they would join Elizabeth and Kearis in to take a "nap"...not sure there was much napping going on.
The boys decided they were going to take Mimi to the water in the beach wheel chair. She said she hadn't laughed that hard in years, it looked like quite the bumpy ride.

Ella stuck around in the end to help Nana "clean up"...aka get the left over marshmallows. I am pretty sure she ate her weight in marshmallows that night.
Ella with her last marshmallow....aka mochilato. She thinks they are the same thing as mochi balls that my sister Cassidy has so nicely introduced into her life. =)
