Fun at the Park!

We took Ella to the park on Saturday...she loved it!! Ella can now sit up for quite a bit on her own. She falls over after about 10-15 seconds, but it's baby steps right? Here is ella in her lounge chair (or so she thinks) watching TV as usual! Yes this is a bird... I was feeding Ella on Saturday and a bird flew by my face. I screamed and scared Ella pretty good. It came out of the chimney and landed on our curtain rod. Then in its attempt to get out it flew into the bathroom...even though the front door was wide open. Brady had to trap himself in the bathroom and one handedly get the screen off the window so the bird could get out.

So, don't judge us for this... We were at Del Taco today eating lunch. (As a side note, I think Ella is teething and has been really irritable). Ella didn't want to sit in her seat while we ate, so we pulled up some cartoons on my phone for her to watch. Then, we propped the phone up in front of her using a toy so that she could watch it while we got a chance to eat. We successfully ate and then got out of there quick before someone called child protective services on us. =)

Ella's First Christmas..

Well, as you can see Brady sure had a fun Christmas!! We were glad all he ended up with was a broken wrist. Ella got to meet two more great great grandparents! Rylan and Ella finally got to meet each other. They weren't so sure what to do... My good friend Brook had Rylan 6 days before Ella was born. It was fun to get to finally meet him! Look what Santa brought!! Grammie and Grandpa bought Ella her first teddy bear! Ella loved her puppy she got from us. She could even make it sing by touching it herself. She thought that was pretty cool! And the Christmas pajamas....so cute!!

So a few weeks ago Ella started to really communicate. This is her conversation with Grammie last Saturday.

Ella went to pick out her first Christmas tree. She really enjoyed the experience, although it was surprisingly cold. Cuddling with Uncle Loco... And loving on Auntie Rae... Ella was meeting Ron and Laurel for the first time at Vince's Spaghetti (a family favorite) and she decided she needed to hold onto the spoon...it was too cute. Ella met her Great Great Grandma and Grandpa on Saturday. She will be meeting two more Great Great Grandparents this weekend. Lucky girl to have so many grandparents still around. Isn't she precious? =)

Christmas and Bowling...

We had our Christmas exchange while in Idaho since we won't be seeing each other around Christmas this year. We had a blast watching the kids open presents. Patrick was especially entertaining this year. Here are a few pictures of the event. Patrick thought he would take a little nap in the doll crib! Ella's first present to open... Emily sure likes paper...even better than the present at times. =) Ella had her first bowling trip this past weekend. We went cosmic bowling! She seemed to have a blast...from what I could tell anyway.
