Disney and the Beach

We finished off with a Disney trip with Alicia and kids on Thursday. Friday was just mostly picking up Brady, and we ended Saturday with a trip to the beach and one last time at Disneyland.
A castle picture.
Just waiting for Alicia, Owen, and Olivia.
Olivia waiting for Dumbo, she was really excited about that ride!
Ella and Owen had a blast. Here they are waiting to get on the carousel.
She was SO happy to finally build a real sand castle and not one with the rocks in our yard!
He wasn't so sure about the beach. Played for a few and slept the rest of the time.
Grammy and Ella at the beach.
The start of our last night at Disneyland. She spilled sprite on herself, so she received these cute new Disney clothes. Now we are off to her first ride choice Dumbo!
Asleep on Dumbo. She didn't make it through the line and obviously didn't wake up once on the ride!
Still asleep during fireworks. Really loud and no movement.
And, still asleep on small world. Guess we better just go home...

Random Fun

Planting Nana's tomato plants at Mimi's...very important work!
Eating Inn-N-Out as much as humanly possible. Oh how I miss that cheeseburger!
Hanging out with Uncle Darren and Emmy. Both kids LOVE them. Ella likes Emmy more than me, I am sure of it. She wants her every time she's sad when we are with them.
Visiting with Ella's best friend Lexi. We went to BJ's (wow was that an adventure. =) We also went to play with her at our old house. Ella did not want to leave!
Picking lemons at Mimi's. This picture is mostly for Nana. Notice, there is no trash can being used! =)
Mimi and Ella. They are best friends!
Ella acting much older than her age at Mimi's.

Go Angels!

These posts will be somewhat out of order, as I had a dead camera and am relying on receiving pictures from other people (Martina, that means you!=). Anyway, we were lucky enough to attend an Angels game, thanks to my dear friend Martina that gave us some awesome tickets! The kids both had a blast and surprisingly lasted the whole game. Ella learned new phrases, courtesy of my dad. She now repeats all day long, "Pitcher's got a rubber arm!" and "Hey batter, batter, swing batter!". What a fun night!

Good ol' Disney

This was the first of our activities while in California. Our Grandma was down for the first week, so we of course had to take her to Disneyland. Here are a few pictures of the day.
This was on the way to Disneyland. Already crashed...uh oh!
The tram.
Cass decided to have Ella pose in front of each billboard. =)
Ella thought she could help push Grandma. =)
Together at last!
Carter loved the carousel.
Dad and Grandma.
Ending the night with sugar...great.

Ella's first massage

Carter, seems to have a career in massage therapy! Ella relapsed last night and threw up again (hence the reason she was allowed to run around half undressed today. Don't mind her nudity). Carter made sure to take good care of his big sister! I love these two!

My hope...

Sorry for the lack of updates. We had Brady's family down last week. His mom, dad, Kearis and Tanner Jacob came to explore Portland. We went to Voodoo Donut, which is a very interesting experience with some very unusual donuts you might say. Then we toured a the Pittock Mansion, which was the home built by the man who started the Oregonian in the 1800's. Then we all took a trip to Seattle for the day to spend Saturday with Brady's sister and family. We took the duck tour and went to Pike's place (a market that has been around for 100 years or better). It was pretty cool to see the city and man was it COLD!! The next day was Easter and we had the normal Easter stuff around here. Easter baskets, and some roast for dinner (not a huge fan of ham). I had grand plans of posting pictures for you all, but haven't had time yet. Ella's poor cousin Kennedy was sick before we came and who knew she was contagious still? Ella started her first stomach flu on Easter. =( It was followed by an entire day of puking, one of us helping while the other cleaned the previous mess. The following day was full of recovering and washing of EVERYTHING in the house to sanitize so we all wouldn't get it. Didn't work. I got sick on Wednesday night. Ella is still recovering with some long lasting symptoms (I won't share the details) and I am still feeling pretty yucky myself. Carter and Brady both seem to have stomach aches, so we hope it ends there. We are headed to California in another week so I sure hope it all goes away to time to get ready for that! Brady has a two week training in LA and we are going to hang out with the family while he is there. Wish us luck! I will get around to some pictures after the puking stops.
