Ella's first massage

Carter, seems to have a career in massage therapy! Ella relapsed last night and threw up again (hence the reason she was allowed to run around half undressed today. Don't mind her nudity). Carter made sure to take good care of his big sister! I love these two!

My hope...

Sorry for the lack of updates. We had Brady's family down last week. His mom, dad, Kearis and Tanner Jacob came to explore Portland. We went to Voodoo Donut, which is a very interesting experience with some very unusual donuts you might say. Then we toured a the Pittock Mansion, which was the home built by the man who started the Oregonian in the 1800's. Then we all took a trip to Seattle for the day to spend Saturday with Brady's sister and family. We took the duck tour and went to Pike's place (a market that has been around for 100 years or better). It was pretty cool to see the city and man was it COLD!! The next day was Easter and we had the normal Easter stuff around here. Easter baskets, and some roast for dinner (not a huge fan of ham). I had grand plans of posting pictures for you all, but haven't had time yet. Ella's poor cousin Kennedy was sick before we came and who knew she was contagious still? Ella started her first stomach flu on Easter. =( It was followed by an entire day of puking, one of us helping while the other cleaned the previous mess. The following day was full of recovering and washing of EVERYTHING in the house to sanitize so we all wouldn't get it. Didn't work. I got sick on Wednesday night. Ella is still recovering with some long lasting symptoms (I won't share the details) and I am still feeling pretty yucky myself. Carter and Brady both seem to have stomach aches, so we hope it ends there. We are headed to California in another week so I sure hope it all goes away to time to get ready for that! Brady has a two week training in LA and we are going to hang out with the family while he is there. Wish us luck! I will get around to some pictures after the puking stops.

Sunday Funnies

As we were leaving for church today, Ella stepped out the door and put her hand in the dirt as usual. It's a bit wet today so it was actually more mud like. Here was our conversation.

Me: "Ella, you can't put your hand in the dirt when you are all clean and ready for church. Jesus wants you to be clean when you go to church."

Ella: "Jesus can look at this hand," she says holding out the hand she hadn't put in the dirt.

As Ella was finishing helping Brady make cookies she started to have a few melt downs.

Me: "I think somebody needs to eat dinner and go to bed."

Ella: "Me."

Haha...glad she knew it!

New House!

Well, I officially have our new house almost all done. That is with the exception of Carter's room and our room. Those are all done except for hanging things on walls and such but those pictures will come later. Here is the rest of the house for all of you that have been asking to see pictures!

As Brady and Ella are playing superman the other day.

Brady: "Ok, Ella I am tired now lets take a break." He climbs onto the couch.

Ella: "Come on big guy!"

Guess she wanted him to keep playing. =)

Ella: "You hungry baby Carter (talking to baby dolly)?" "Ok, here's some milk. " She starts feeding her baby, you know, the natural way. "Ouch! Don't bite me! That's naughty baby!"

Hmmm...I have no idea where she would have gotten this. =)

Ella and I are sitting at the table for lunch. She asks for ice cream when she wakes up, after lunch, and at night lately. She is a persistent little thing.

Ella: "Mom, can I have ice cream and fruit snacks?

Me: "Not now, maybe after dinner tonight."

Ella: "Come on mom, you know you want some!"

Haha...I probably did but need to ration my ice cream intake a little more than three times a day.

Baby Dolly's Time out!

Notice any similarities in these pictures? Yes, they are both on time out. Well, to clear the record Ella wasn't actually on a time out. She decided to pose for a picture on time out. Her doll, however, is on time out. She apparently hit Ella really hard in the tummy and is in big trouble. She put her there, told her not to hit her in the tummy and walked off. She then proceeded to go back and ask her if she knew why she was there and asked for an apology. She then gave her a hug and kiss. As she walked back into the family room she was scolding her and telling her not to do that again. "No hitting me in the tummy again, do you understand?" Haha, she cracks me up!
